On Nov. 26, during a live segment on Today, Jenna revealed how Mila and Poppy surprised her with a delightful hotel room makeover while she was out with her husband, Henry. Hotel Room Makeover: A Birthday Surprise Fit for a Queen

Jenna shared that her daughters, Mila, who’s 5, and Poppy, who’s 3, went all out to make her 37th birthday unforgettable. The family was staying at the luxurious Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia on Nov. 25, and the girls decided to take matters into their own little hands. "I came home after maybe a cup of mulled wine or two," Jenna joked about her dinner with Henry. As she opened the door to their hotel room, she was greeted by a sight that melted her heart. Her door was adorned with streamers and a cheerful sign that read, "Happy birthday, Jenna." It was such a sweet surprise, though Jenna couldn’t help but laugh when Poppy started calling her by her first name. Isn’t that just the cutest thing?

Four Reasons Why They Love Their Mom

But wait, there’s more to this heartwarming story! Jenna went on to share that Mila and Poppy didn’t stop at decorating the room. They also created a heartfelt sign listing four reasons why they love her. The final reason was particularly funny and poignant: "Without you, we would be in an orphanage." Jenna couldn’t help but laugh as she recounted her husband Henry’s reaction. "Henry was like, 'What about me? Am I chopped liver?'" Even though Jenna and Barbara celebrated separately on their actual birthday, they made sure to mark the occasion together earlier on Nov. 18. Jenna captioned a photo of the two blowing out candles with, "Wombmate.com! Early birthday dinner with my favorite. (Thanks to our husbands!)" It’s clear that family bonds run deep in the Bush household.

Their mom, Laura, also chimed in with a sweet message of her own. "Our two babies have grown up," she wrote, sharing a photo of the girls as toddlers. "Happy 37th Birthday to Barbara and Jenna!" It’s moments like these that remind us how special family traditions can be.
