Jacinta took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message alongside a selfie of the happy couple. "Thank you for your friendship for six years, my love. I am grateful we figured it all out. And thank you for asking me to be your BFF forever 💍 #yesyesyes," she wrote on the social media platform. It’s always nice to see love and friendship blossom, even in unexpected ways.

Jonathan's Breakup Message

Back in April, Jonathan, who’s 40 now, also took to social media to announce their breakup. He kept it classy and ensured fans it was an amicable split. He wrote, “When I met Jacinta in the fall of 2015, I met somebody kind and courageous and a champion for human/animal rights. We grew to respect each other fiercely and know that will remain unchanged for the rest of our lives.” He added, “Sometimes life takes you on unexpected paths and those paths aren’t always in the same direction. There’s no drama or negativity; no jealousy or hate. Not even sadness or sorrow. Our memories are filled with joy and we will continue to advocate for each other as friends wherever we go.”

Jonathan's Heartbreak

Although Jonathan has said he “wishes Jacinta the very best always,” according to In Touch, he’s feeling pretty defeated. This is his second heartbreak, after all. He previously went through a tough divorce with his ex-wife, airline-crew scheduler Kelsy Ully, a few years ago. A source told the news outlet, “He’s got to feel defeated again knowing his former girlfriend is with a guy who was right under Jonathan’s nose the entire time.” Life can be tough, but we’ve got to keep moving forward, right?

Here’s hoping Jonathan finds love again soon! In the meantime, he can prepare to be the coolest uncle ever to his brother Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan’s future kids.
