Kelly Clarkson's Kids Steal The Show On The Voice

Let me tell you, folks, Kelly Clarkson had quite the surprise on The Voice this week. The talented judge welcomed not one, but two very special guests—her own kids, River and Remington! On Tuesday, Nov. 13, Kelly couldn’t resist sharing a heartwarming photo of her two little ones behind the scenes on Instagram. And let me tell you, they are stealing the spotlight!

Check out the caption Kelly added: “Love when the kids come see me on set!” And who could argue with that? Her daughter River, who’s just 4 years old, and son Remington, only 2, are growing up so fast. It’s hard to believe how big they’ve gotten, and Kelly’s 3.7 million followers couldn’t agree more. Comments poured in with admiration. “They are beautiful! You look amazing!” one fan wrote. Another added, “They are beautiful just like their mama.” It’s clear Kelly’s kids are already following in their mom’s footsteps when it comes to charm and charisma.

Kelly, who’s now 36, welcomed River into the world back in June 2014, followed by Remington in April 2016. Both kids share the same dad, Brandon Blackstock, who’s 41. Brandon and Kelly tied the knot back in 2013, and she also plays the role of stepmom to Brandon’s two older children, Seth and Savannah, from his previous relationship. It’s a big happy family, and Kelly wouldn’t have it any other way.

    Being a Mom Comes First

While Kelly has a thriving career in music and television, there’s no doubt that her top priority is her family. In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, she opened up about balancing her career with motherhood. “My favorite part of the day is bedtime stories with River Rose,” she revealed. And while music is her passion, family always comes first. “There are days where life gets chaotic, and I’m crying because there’s just not enough time to do everything,” Kelly admitted. “But you know what? That’s every mom. You’re shaping lives here, and you don’t want to mess it up!”

She also understands the importance of balance and not letting mom guilt take over. “I’m not going to be able to be there for everything, and that’s okay,” she added. “It’s important for my girls, especially, to see me as a woman accomplishing all these things while still rocking it as a mom. That’s something I always come back to.”

Kelly wrapped up her thoughts by emphasizing the importance of teaching her kids to love what they do. “I want to teach my kids to pursue their passions,” she said. “Love what you do. I’ve accomplished a lot, but my ultimate goal is that when I pass on, people will say, ‘She was so successful as a mother and as a wife.’ That’s what I’m really striving for.” And if her kids’ charm is any indication, she’s well on her way to achieving that goal. You go, Kelly!
