The Day That Wasn’t Like Any Other
“We did break up on the day that we got engaged,” Savannah admitted, reminiscing about their 2013 engagement. Now, before you get the wrong idea, she didn’t go into too many details about why they decided to part ways, but she shared an amusing twist. The couple was vacationing in Turks and Caicos when Savannah dropped the bombshell in the morning. But wait, it gets better—by the afternoon, they were back together and celebrating their engagement. Savannah and Mike tied the knot in March 2014 and have since welcomed two beautiful children into their lives—Vale, who’s 4, and Charley, who’s 22 months. Life with Vale and Charley keeps Savannah on her toes, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. “It’s wild. It’s great. Luckily, Charley, the baby, is really pretty mellow and pretty easy—because Vale is such a pistol,” she shared in a past interview. Despite the chaos, Savannah admits she’s not immune to “mom guilt.” “I have terrible mom guilt. It is so real. I’m hardly ever away from my kids. I mean, hardly ever. I feel sick inside when I’m not with them—I really do feel almost physically ill.” Thankfully, she’s got Mike by her side to keep her grounded and remind her how amazing she is as a mom.
