Hey there, friends! Let’s talk about some sage advice from actress Soleil Moon Frye for the soon-to-be mom, Duchess Meghan Markle. In a recent interview, Soleil, a proud mom of four at 42 years old, opened up about the one thing she couldn’t have done without during her pregnancies. Spoiler alert: it’s all about having a strong support system.
Soleil Moon Frye Shares Her Pregnancy Wisdom
At the Friendly House 29th Annual Awards Luncheon in Beverly Hills on October 27, Soleil emphasized the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people during pregnancy. "Just a good support system more than anything," she said. To Soleil, having a solid support network is crucial at this stage of life. She even joked that Meghan should invite Demi Moore into the birthing room—a nod to the fact that Demi played a pivotal role in the delivery of Soleil's own children.

Meet Soleil Moon Frye: The Mom of Four
Soleil Moon Frye, best known for her role as Punky Brewster, is married to Jason Goldberg, and together they have four children: Poet, 12, Jagger, 10, Lyric, 4, and Story, 2. In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Soleil revealed how Demi Moore stepped up to help deliver all four of her children. She described Demi as almost doctor-like during those moments, taking charge and ensuring everything went smoothly. "She’s like, 'Alright. I’m here. Step back everybody,'" Soleil recalled. "Demi gets the phone with the doctor, she’s like, 'If you’re not gonna do it, I’m gonna do it.' She was ready. But then [the doctor] walked in and within five minutes, the baby popped out.” Soleil admitted that she prefers it this way, with Demi being present in all her birth rooms.

After giving birth to her youngest child, Story, Soleil lost an impressive 40 pounds. She shared that while every new mom’s journey is unique, there shouldn’t be pressure to lose baby weight immediately. Instead, Soleil focused on her child and made sure to carve out time for herself. "We put everything into loving and supporting our kids, but we still have ourselves. I hope that I can inspire other mothers to make time for themselves and take the steps toward living a happier, healthier life," she once told E! News.
Advice for Mom-to-Be Meghan Markle
As Meghan Markle prepares for her first child with Prince Harry, Soleil’s advice could be invaluable. Kensington Palace recently announced via social media that Meghan is expecting their baby in the spring of 2019. "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," the palace said in a statement on October 15. The royal couple has been on their first overseas tour since their wedding, and fans eagerly await their return to see how Meghan and Harry will spend the remainder of her pregnancy.
