They look like the picture-perfect couple! Vanna White, the 61-year-old star of "Wheel of Fortune," and her longtime boyfriend, John Donaldson, may not be officially married, but Vanna says she feels just as committed to him as if they had walked down the aisle. In a candid interview with Closer Weekly, Vanna shared her thoughts about their relationship and why she's perfectly content with how things are going right now.
Vanna White on Love and Marriage: "I Feel Married"
When asked whether she and John, a California-based construction development company owner, plan to tie the knot, Vanna laughed and said, "Will we get married? I don’t know. At this point, I feel like I am married." She added, "Everything is so good between us, there’s no reason to change anything." The couple, who started dating back in 2013, have built a strong, loving bond over the years. Vanna described John as "kind, understanding, and someone who lets me be me." It's clear that their connection goes beyond the typical dating phase—they're truly partners in life.

Vanna White's Simple, Grounded Lifestyle
Despite her fame and an impressive net worth of around $50 million thanks to her role on "Wheel of Fortune," Vanna leads a surprisingly simple life. "Today, I am happy just the way things are," she told Closer Weekly. "The biggest surprise to my fans is probably how simple I live in real life. I’m a real down-to-earth girl. Most days, you’ll find me without makeup, wearing tennis shoes, and enjoying the outdoors. I love waking up early when it's quiet, stepping out onto my balcony to hear the birds sing. It’s such a peaceful way to start the day."

A Journey Through Love and Loss
Before meeting John, Vanna experienced her fair share of heartache. She was once engaged to dancer and actor John Gibson, whose tragic death in a 1986 plane crash left her devastated. Later, in 1990, she married George Santo Pietro, with whom she shared two children, son Niko, now 24, and daughter Gigi, now 21. Unfortunately, the marriage ended in divorce in 2002 after Vanna suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage. She was also engaged to businessman Michael Kaye in 2004, but they called off their wedding plans in 2006. Through it all, Vanna has remained resilient and hopeful.

The Secret to Lasting Happiness
After years of challenges, Vanna has discovered the key to staying happy and grounded. "Life throws us both positives and negatives, and we have to accept them and do whatever we can to get through it," she explained. "It’s like breaking an arm—it takes time to heal, but eventually, it does. Life isn’t perfect, so we need to make the best of it. Be strong, be kind to others, and most importantly, be happy." Her words reflect a wisdom that comes from experience and a heart that’s learned to embrace life’s ups and downs with grace.
