Country Star Carrie Underwood Joins the Ranks of Soccer Moms
There’s no denying that Carrie Underwood has a lot going on in her life right now. Between her music career and her growing family, it seems like she’s juggling a lot. But now, she’s adding another title to her already impressive resume: soccer mom! In a recent Instagram post, the country music superstar shared a glimpse into her new role, showing off her pride as her son Isaiah Fisher, whom she shares with husband Mike Fisher, took to the soccer field for the first time.
Carrie’s Instagram post was nothing short of adorable. In the photo, she looked absolutely radiant, possibly glowing from her pregnancy. She was bundled up in a cozy vest, with her golden locks tied neatly back, ready to cheer on her little one. The caption read, “Officially a soccer mom this morning! It’s chilly out but I’m staying warm rocking some @caliabycarrie… the kids played a good game! Isaiah scored two goals for his team… and one for the other team. Hey, a goal’s a goal!” The humor and lightheartedness in her words made it clear that Carrie is embracing this new chapter with open arms.

Carrie Talks About Balancing Work and Family Life
At 35 years old, Carrie is not only a successful country music singer but also a devoted mother. In a recent interview with Us Weekly at the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year award show, she opened up about the delicate balance between her career and her family. "Balance is what it’s all about. No matter what your job is," Carrie explained. "Being a mom, working, and dividing your time — it is what we all have to do as mothers." It’s clear that Carrie understands the challenges of being a working mom and is committed to making it work for her and her family.
Family Comes First for Carrie
With another baby on the way, Carrie is likely taking some time off from her demanding schedule to focus on her family. Her Cry Pretty tour is set to kick off in May 2019, but before then, she and her husband, Mike, are preparing to welcome their second child. Back in April 2017, Carrie admitted to People that their lives had changed dramatically since the arrival of their three-year-old son, Isaiah. "I remember when we first found out we were gonna have him, it [was] like, ‘How are we gonna do this? Our lives are so crazy as it is,’” Carrie recalled. "But you just make room and you learn how important that family time is." From vacations to cruises, Carrie and Mike are making the most of their time together as a family.

As Isaiah prepares to become a big brother, Carrie revealed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that her son might not fully grasp the changes ahead. "I don’t think for real he understands," Carrie admitted. "He’ll be really sweet and he’ll like, talk to my belly and kiss my belly." While Isaiah may not fully comprehend what’s coming, Carrie is confident that he’ll adjust. "I mean, no kid can really know that their life is going to change," she told Jimmy. "He’ll just have to share Mommy." With all the excitement and changes ahead, we can’t wait to see how Isaiah embraces his new role as a big brother!
