Who says you can't bring the whole family along for your honeymoon? Apparently, it wasn't Drew Scott, the charming star of Property Brothers. Instead of keeping this special trip just for him and his wife, Linda Phan, Drew extended an invitation to his twin brother, Jonathan Scott, to join them on their adventure. Now that's what I call thinking outside the box!
In a recent interview with People, Drew opened up about their unique honeymoon experience. "We just did our honeymoon last month," he shared enthusiastically. "We traveled down to Ecuador with the WE organization, where we spent time helping out in the community. Then, we ventured over to the breathtaking Galapagos Islands for some relaxation. It was an unforgettable journey, to say the least!"

Jonathan Scott: The Honeymoon Invitee Who Declined
Although Drew and Linda had an incredible time in Ecuador, Drew initially had someone else in mind to join them on this adventure—his Property Brothers co-star and brother, Jonathan Scott. In a humorous twist, Jonathan revealed, "Can I point out they invited me to go on the honeymoon charity trip?" But despite the offer, Jonathan respectfully declined. "I was like, no, I will be forever pegged as the worst third wheeler of all time if I go on their honeymoon," he joked. While Jonathan may have missed out on the trip, his decision was perfectly understandable.
Building Families in the Rainforest
Even without Jonathan, Drew was excited about the opportunity to bring his brother's expertise into the mix. "We were building homes for families with WE in the rainforest. I thought bringing a contractor along on the honeymoon..." Drew began, before Jonathan interjected with a playful "Awkward!" Despite the unconventional nature of the trip, Drew and Linda embraced the experience fully. "Linda was right there with sledgehammers, shovels. It was a lot of fun and helping a lot of people," Drew shared. "But it was also beautiful. Ecuador is stunning!"
