Even though former U.S. President Barack Obama has stepped away from the Oval Office, he's clearly still in touch with his old colleagues — especially his former Vice President and close friend, Joe Biden. Just the other day, these two legends, aged 56 and 75 respectively, were spotted out and about for a casual lunch in Washington, D.C. And guess what? They looked just as tight as ever, proving that some friendships truly last forever.
Where Did They Eat?
The duo decided to meet up at the charming Dog Tag Bakery in the nation's capital. Lucky for us, the bakery caught the entire visit on camera, giving fans a glimpse into this delightful outing. In the video, Barack can be heard asking Joe, "Hold on a sec, what did you get here?" Joe, always ready with an answer, replied, "I've got one of these, what are they called, ham and cheese." Without missing a beat, Barack decided to go for the same thing, proving that sometimes even world leaders can't resist a classic ham and cheese sandwich. Joe then joked to the cashier, "Give the boss one of those too." Check out the clip below!

It’s moments like these that remind us of the genuine connections that can last long after one's time in office is over.
The Unbreakable Bond Between Joe and Barack
Joe and Barack's friendship dates all the way back to when Barack was first elected into office in 2008. It's no secret that these two have always shared a special bond. In fact, during a previous interview with People magazine, Obama’s chief of staff Anita Decker Breckenridge confirmed that their friendship remains as strong as ever. "The bromance continues. It’s not ended," she said. "What does he miss about the White House? I mean, they had lunch every single week for eight years." Clearly, some habits are just impossible to break, even when you're no longer in the White House.
