Despite her illustrious career, Annie made a conscious decision to prioritize her family, especially her three sons—Clay, Doc, and Harry. She explains, "During my early years, I was constantly juggling series and films during my breaks, but it wasn’t ideal for the kids or me. It was exhausting. Looking back, I don’t regret slowing down because it gave me invaluable time with my boys." Today, Annie resides primarily in New Orleans with her husband of 28 years, James Hayman, who executive-produces NCIS: New Orleans.
