I reached out to the production team, asking if they could consider someone else for the part. But they were firm, telling me, ‘No, you need to get on that plane and get here.’ And you know what? Once I immersed myself in the character, something magical happened. Virginia Woolf just kind of took over, and I became her. It’s hard to explain, but it was like she found a way into my soul.”
