Hilaria Baldwin Shares Honest Post-Baby Journey

As a mom of four, Hilaria Baldwin has never shied away from sharing her post-baby body experiences on social media. On Wednesday, October 3, Alec Baldwin's 34-year-old wife once again opened up to her followers about her body's recovery journey, almost five months after the birth of her fourth child, son Romeo, who arrived in mid-May.

In her candid Instagram post, Hilaria shared a heartfelt message alongside a three-way split photo of herself at nine months pregnant, 12 days after giving birth, and four-and-a-half months later. "The recovery from baby number four continues," she wrote. "I share my journey and posts because I truly believe in the power of smart exercise, good eating, and maintaining a calm mind for a healthy body. I want you to experience this too because life is worth living to its fullest—and you are worth it."

    Earlier this year, Hilaria and Alec, 60, announced the arrival of their fourth child through her Instagram page. "He’s here! He’s perfect! 8lbs 2oz?#wegotthis2018," she captioned the first image of baby Romeo. Hilaria then returned to Instagram to give her followers an update on her growing family, which includes daughter Carmen, 5, and sons Rafael, 3, and Leonardo, 2. However, she also shared the tough news that she was battling pneumonia, and her three eldest children were also unwell.

    In a candid post, Hilaria detailed the challenges of adapting to life with a new family of six. "It’s been tough getting our new family oriented with all the necessary quarantining," she wrote. "The recovery from birth, starting breastfeeding again, sleepless nights, taking care of sick toddlers, doctor visits, my own health… I just keep on saying 'we got this.'"

    Rebounding with Health and Wellness

    Once the Baldwin family regained their health, Hilaria resumed sharing her health and wellness tips with her followers. She emphasized the importance of staying active, even when it's the last thing you feel like doing. "Every body is different, but I believe in staying as active as possible," she shared. "There were so many moments during my last pregnancy when I didn’t want to work out. Showing up is the most difficult challenge. I had to drag myself out and do even a little."

    She also highlighted the importance of consistency in her recovery process. "Consistency helped me so much… because the body wants attention and wants to be moved. It's crucial for your circulation, your health, your happiness, and your strength," she explained. "I just started being able to work out again yesterday. Slow and steady. Nothing crazy. Each birth is different, and your doctor will guide you on when you can begin. When you can, be patient with your body. You’ve been through so much and created something so precious. Remember, day by day, movement by movement, you will regain your strength and feel amazing."
