Have you ever noticed how Marie Osmond seems to defy the aging process? Well, it turns out there might be some truth to that. The talented entertainer recently joked on Instagram, “I’m planning my last 29th birthday… in paradise!” While she's actually celebrating her 59th birthday on October 13, Marie is set to mark the occasion with a spectacular concert in Honolulu. And guess what? She couldn’t be more thrilled about the whole thing.
For the past decade, Marie has been celebrating her birthdays alongside her brother Donny, performing together for their wildly successful Las Vegas residency. But this year, she’s decided to switch things up. “This year, I want to work with, and pay tribute to, the original four Osmond Brothers who started it all,” she explains. “Without them, there never would have been any of the rest of us performing Osmonds!”

Let’s take a step back and appreciate where it all began. Alan, Wayne, Merrill, and Jay Osmond started their musical journey as a barbershop quartet, regularly performing on The Andy Williams Show back in the 1960s. Their early success paved the way for Donny and Jimmy to join the group, eventually leading to the rise of Donny and Marie as superstars in their own right. Now, Marie is bringing it all full circle with a special tribute to her brothers.
Reuniting with Her Roots: A Special Concert Featuring the Original Osmond Brothers
Marie has always looked up to her older brothers, and she’s not shy about expressing her admiration. “I spent my entire young life idolizing these extraordinarily talented guys,” she shares. And now, she’s managed to convince Alan and Wayne to come out of retirement to join her on stage for what she calls “one last time.” While it may have taken a little persuasion, she admits with a smile, “I may have twisted their arms a bit.”
But it’s not just about bringing them back for nostalgia’s sake. Each of her brothers brings something unique to the table. Merrill, for instance, is an incredible writer and lyricist, while Jay was known in the '70s as one of the world’s best drummers. Marie fondly recalls how Jay captured millions of hearts by following the cameras during tapings of The Andy Williams Show, making him a household name in his own right.

Adding a New Voice to the Mix: Nephew David Osmond
Marie didn’t stop at reuniting with her brothers. She’s also bringing in another special guest—her nephew, David Osmond. “Wait till you hear his opera voice in our special duet that will honor the kids helped by @cmnhospitals,” she says with excitement. So how did she manage to convince all these incredible talents to join her for this extraordinary reunion? Simple, she jokes, “I am their only sister!”
