In her own words, she wrote, "Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power." For those of you who might not be familiar with this '80s cartoon icon, She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man and a royal rebel known for her strength and courage. "Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy," she wrote. "Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate." It’s clear that Meghan was not only aware of the hype but also embraced it in her own unique way.

Saying Goodbye to The Tig

In April 2017, just months before Meghan and Harry announced their engagement, she decided to close down The Tig. In a heartfelt farewell post, she expressed her gratitude to her followers. "After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig," she began. "What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun, and frivolity."

She continued, "You’ve made my days brighter and filled this experience with so much joy. Keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being 'the change you wish to see in the world.' Thank you for everything." It was a bittersweet moment, but Meghan knew it was time to move on to the next chapter of her life.

A few months later, Meghan also stepped away from her social media presence, preparing for her new role as a member of the royal family. She tied the knot with Prince Harry in May 2018, marking the start of her royal journey.
